Love the clean feel after cleansing
I read about the DUO Cleansing Balm everywhere since it so popular in Japan. I purchased the Original version and absolutely loved it! I always prefer cleansing balms for my dry skin and in my opinion, they do a very good job at removing any dirt/oil build up in my pores without feeling like my skin has been stripped of hydration. You only need maybe a quarter size (like 1 scoop) amount for your face and neck. Like a proper cleansing balm should, after coming in contact with water, the product turns into a "milk" like texture and nicely cleans the face. The container comes with a scoop that can be snapped in place on the lid which I thought was super handy! Although there is some fragrance ingredients present (e.g. lavender oil etc.), I have not broken out and there is no strong smell. The experience is so luxurious and I would definitely buy this over the Drunk Elephant Slaai balm (way harder texture similar to wax, not as buttery) just from the experience and results. My skin seems to like the DUO balm, plus makeup & sunscreen comes off very nicely. I sometimes wear foundation but most days wear tinted sunscreen. Although there are cheaper alternatives such as the Banila Co Clean It Zero, my skin seems to do very well with the DUO cleansing balm and you get around the same quantity but I feel the DUO lasted me longer! I will definitely be repurchasing, thank you Tok Tok Beauty!
